It seems that the paleo-right is colliding with the neocons and it's getting ugly out there.
First David Frum (the man who coined the term axis of evil while working for Bush) unleashed an attack on Rush Limbaugh's spectacle at CPAC.
And since then he has been the target of a venemous assault on talk radio. Particularly from the
relatively unknown but vile Mark Levin. He is Michael Savage without the charm.
Here is what set off Levin and the Limbaugh lunatics:
And for the leader of the Republicans? A man who is aggressive and bombastic, cutting and sarcastic, who dismisses the concerned citizens in network news focus groups as “losers.” With his private plane and his cigars, his history of drug dependency and his personal bulk, not to mention his tangled marital history, Rush is a walking stereotype of self-indulgence – exactly the image that Barack Obama most wants to affix to our philosophy and our party. And we’re cooperating! Those images of crowds of CPACers cheering Rush’s every rancorous word – we’ll be seeing them rebroadcast for a long time.

On his March 3rd broadcast Levin bashed Frum mercilessly. Levin owes much of his income to Limbaugh's
having set up the entire right-wing talk radio monopoly and thus is very protective of Papo Rushbo.
The March 4 broadcast of the Mark Levin show got downright ugly with Levin and Frum trading accusations and insults. Fratricide can be a beautiful thing. Levin kept turning Frum's mike off and at one point said "You're annoying as hell."
